Planning your Removal

We recommend that you contact us as soon as you begin to plan your removal. We will arrange to visit you at your convenience to assess your removal needs and to provide you with a written quotation. The visit will last about 45 minutes.
Our assessor will discuss with you all aspects of your removal, including whether you require storage, assistance with packing/dismantling of furniture and the requirement for/benefits of extended liability cover with an insured remover. Our assessor will review the access arrangements to your property and will determine the size of vehicle and number of men required to carry out the removal and will discuss with you a timetable for the removal, particularly where a packing service or storage is required.
We will prepare a fixed price written quotation for your removal which, together with an acceptance form, will be sent to you with a brochure and other useful information about removals. Our policy is to keep our quotations clear and simple. All charges are set out up-front and we do not have any undisclosed extras.
If you are happy with our quotation you will need to book your removal with us. Bookings are taken all the time and so availability for given dates is always changing. You will need to return the completed acceptance form to us, together with your cheque for 50% of the cost of the removal. This payment secures the booking of a vehicle and crew for your removal. We cannot take provisional bookings although we can give you an indication of availability. You should book your removal as soon as you are notified of your completion date by your solicitor.
