Storage Things to bear in mind about storage. Placing your possessions in storage can, in today's housing market, mean the difference between keeping and losing a sale. Placing your goods in storage even at short notice and for as long as necessary gives you flexibility, enabling you to move out on time and preserve the chain. people put things in store for many reasons, including: Our storage facility is a modern, purpose built warehouse, which is fully protected by electric security fencing, CCTV and fire and security alarms. Your possessions can be stored for any length of time. We will collect and, if required, pack your possessions. Where access permits we will bring empty containers to your home, load them on site while preparing an inventory, seal them and return them to the warehouse.   If you have carried out your own packing you must ensure that you complete an inventory of what you have packed and make a note of all items of value that you have packed. You will be required to sign a declaration of value of all items going into store. Ideally, do not put into storage any items that you may require before your items come out of store. Storage containers, which are numbered are stacked in the warehouse using a forklift. The position of containers in the warehouse depends on the planned length of storage. while it is possible for us to access your containers early, we will make a charge for doing so. Storage is charged on a daily basis and invoiced monthly in advance. Collection and delivery charges are dependent on various factors, including travelling distance, access arrangements and the number of vehicles and personnel required.
