Skill and care are required to wrap, pack and load your possessions safely and to protect them during your removal. We use quality packing materials and protective covers. You may choose to pack your own possessions in which case we can provide you with all of the packing materials that you require. If you wish to do some packing yourself but require some help with your packing we can provide you with a professional fragile items packing service for the safe packing of your kitchen and dining room, glass and china, ornaments, mirrors, pictures and lamps. However, if you require a full packing service we will professionally and safely pack everything in your home.

If you wish to mix and match these services we can accommodate your individual needs. Where we are carrying out a fragile items packing service items are individually wrapped in white paper/bubble wrap prior to boxing. Carpet and door frame protectors are used internally to protect areas of your home that may be vulnerable during a removal. Other than in exceptional circumstances, packing is always carried out on a day separate from the day of the removal. This is to ensure that everything is properly prepared and to minimise the risk of damage.

In addition to the use of special removal blankets to protect your furniture while in transit we also use specially designed protective padded covers for items such as mattresses, dining chairs, sofas and armchairs. Some items e.g. antiques, grandfather clocks, large pictures and mirrors may require individual wrapping in card and bubble blanket. Clothing is moved in railed hanging wardrobe boxes to prevent creasing. If required, we can provide an unpacking service but in any event all furniture and boxes will be placed in the rooms designated by you.
